tRuth is a pen name: I am a solitary under vow to my bishop, and the heart of my life is prayer. This means I am careful not to scatter my attention by using social media. Focusing on one thing necessarily means saying no to others.
I sing a fourfold plainchant office, as well as participating normally in the life of the Anglican church in which I am a priest. Receiving the eucharist is essential for a healthy relationship with God, all the more for those who seek to give more of their life to prayer. The two aspects of sacrament and office complement each other.
An important element of my prayer life is painting ikons on my day off. In the image you see me applying varnish to the painted areas of an ikon of the Mother of God.
